Default What's on sale !!!! I miss Adam

We woul dget together on Saturday and talk about the tool deals of the week after reviewing the CT flyerand P.A flyer.

There was just a great deal on 3/8 drive hex/ torx bits. i love my kit to death , so much i wanted to buy another.

This week there is a MAJOR sale at Priness Auto. a 1/2 inch drive 24" breaker bar for 12.00. Picked one of those since my buddy busted my last one.

Also picked up a complete set of broken stud extractors for 5.00 . ( Hardened steel)

and for fine work picked up a small " third hand" basically a stand with a set of grippers on it and a magnifying glass for small work like soldering xbox playstation wheel connectors and stuff.
Being a full time toy repair guy I found this handy. 2.88 . even bought one for my son to put in his stocking .. maybe he will start fixing his own toys ..
there were a couple of cool things this weekend at C.T but i juts couldn't get out of bed

I do that, too -- I'll pick a couple of things up, walk around with them trying to remember why I'm there, get to the air tools, hunting clothes or ATV Tires and totally lose interest in what I'm carrying.

I would definitely love a pair (or 4) of the 6-ton jack stands for extra height, but they never seem to go "on sale" so they're still $60 for two.

Thats me and Costco. I go in for case of motor oil and come out with a cart full of aluminum foil, a ten year supply, because it was such a good price.

Dude - what's on sale?

8 gallon lAir compressor $129

OBD code reader $60

45 L Shop Vac $109

Dewalt Drill/Impact driver

I can't even buy anything down here in VA - I don't have any place to put it.

I suppose I could do the same thing I did with my torque wrench. Buy it on sale and then have Courtney at EU do all the work on the car

PA had a sale on a 3M Thinsulate toque (sp?) last week $6.99, bought one and this sucker is warm! Great for snowblowing. Also had half off on riced out gauges too, $22. Picked up a boost and /AF as a back up. Component cable was on sale at PA.........10M (33 ft) for $20.

Last weekend broke my 3/8 braker bar, I'll see if I cna take it back to PA for an exchange. Never used a pipe on it , yet it only lasted a year.
