Damn liquid magnesium chloride crap, spewing all over the road from a huge tanker truck. Which means game over for the 2009 season. Almost made it the "09/10" season. Yay for preventative measures. Why can't they be that proactive with things like the economy?

On a lighter note, though, I found this on my car last night. Think I should call?

Salt truck... damn! I drove mine yesterday in the snow. Spinning at every corner.
I'm gonna store it this weekend. I'm now back driving miss daisy (my 1997 volks golf winter car). So december, Jan, Feb, march, the 951 will probably be out by beginning of april. 4 months, not that bad. Compare to a motorcycle : )

I didn't see any salt trucks in my area of Etobicoke. That must means my perimeter of driving opportunities has just merely been narrowed down to a 10 km radius (from my house to Artisano's)

Watch for conspicuous wet streaks on the road. That's what first tipped me off. There hasn't been rain in days, so why was the road wet in some areas? Then I saw the dreaded tanker truck with jets. Remember, this is the liquid stuff they lay down before the snow falls.

I was sliding all over the place this morning in my A4 quattro with winter tires. It might have been because I was pretending I was in a rally race.

I saw the trucks PISSING our tax payers money away.

Did anyone see snow?????

wow....here in the land of denial I just yesterday put the winters on both mine and the wife's car then washed and stored the summers with only a sweatshirt on.

oh we pay our fairshare of taxes,,, just not being in the GTA means that our houses aren't in the crazy bidding bubble that yours are!

That was our 2nd snow for this winter... the 1st happened on Nov 5th.....
