Default Full map coverage for Canada in Porsche Nav?

We recently travelled to Newfoundland from Toronto.

Just east of Quebec City the map detail ended. We had a North Arrow though.

We called the nearest dealer--Halifax. No maps available............

So, has anyone found full map coveage for the Porsche Nav system? Are map discs available from any other source?

Thank heaven I had packed my Garmin. I'm lost without my gpsr!

Car's a 2005 911.

Thanks!

Huh, in the summer of 2005 I went to Cape Breton and then down through Nova Scotia from Ottawa and my NAV in my then brand new 05 C2S Cab worked very nicely. Something is wrong.

Call Downtown Porsche of Pfaff.

I admit, once we hit Bar Harbour in Maine there was a whole lot more detail state side.

The NAV in my 07 car has definite updates the 05 car didn't have....

Navigation update for 2008 (this updated DVD is dated 8/07), ideal for early 2005 to 2007 models, consists of two PCM2.1 Multimedia Update CDs (1 and 2), and the DVD containing updated maps.

Database Additions:

Lotta $$ to pay for a bunch of POI's, 99% of which are US based
