It does sounds like a fun DIY project. The more you can do yourself the more the job becomes cost effective.

Just dropped my car off at g-tek for some service, and Uwe is no longer there. He left about 2 weeks ago, wonder where he went.

This is an old thread, but I thought I'd see if you folks could update me with your experiences. I have a '92 C2 Targa, running great, but I need service (oil change, etc.) and other things appropriate for 85,000 miles. Any thoughts? I was going to try GTEK. Is it still good? Thanks!
