Default CPO purchase discount?

Hi all,

Currently considering a CPO 992 c2s.
Any advice on negotiation for a CPO?
Anyone know if dealers are willing to discount? If so, how many % should I aim for?
Perviously had luck negotiating at BMW’s CPO for 5-6% off. Should I expect the same for Porsche?

thank you in advance

a deal from porsche? HA HA HA HA. when I bought my car 1 1/2 years ago CPO was part of the price. the salesman simply said "we are a one price shop. pay the price or walk away."

My experience has been that it depends on a number of factors, for example how long it has been listed, but to say dealers don’t negotiate is simply not true.

You are forgetting that it’s a privilege for you to be allowed to spend your hard earned money at an actual Porsche dealer. Pretty soon they are going to have bouncers at the showroom door because entering the building is also a privilege.

And if you’re one of the chosen few, they’ll remind you what a favour they’ve done for you when the value your trade.

🤣

They will have those buzzers that they have in jewelry stores. If you don't "look" like money.....your not getting in. Lol

Looking at a new Tundra. Even Toyota won't haggle.

Famous Toronto one from years ago. I believe it was Kardinall Offishall trying to get into Royal de Versailles on Bloor. They did not let him in those front doors. Didn't know who he was, rather judged on looks.

All you can do is ask. If u think your going to walk in and hard ball any dealer they will laugh at u.
Having an existing relationship with said selling dealer and decent purchase history will also factor into if they are willing to dance.

Bmw/merc dealership model doesn't translate to porsche.

This is correct. Especially the part about the existing relationship and purchase history... I wouldn't hesitate to ask for a discount on a CPO car at my dealer since we've bought several cars from him over the past few years (with more on order). But, I'd also fully expect him to say no if it is on a sports car and would be ok with that.
