HUGE EURO CAR MEET! Lets Go Rep. Porsche
There's gonna be a big euro meet next weekend. I'll be up there for sure, crusing up from yorkdale with some Benz friends from MBCanada.com.
Any other Rennlisters wanna meet up at yorkdale b4 heading down for the main meet? Generally speaking who's gonna come down for this thing? (Paul, can we count you in on this thing?)

I think I'll come up from Keswick. I'll bring my slantnose and maybe I can sell my 72' VW Beetle. I've been wanting to check out the store for some time now for some rims...

Sorry guys I couldn't make it. Damn it, I really wanted to go too.... it was my Grandmother's 82nd birthday party that day as well. If it was anyone else I'd of skipped out but not for her.

Gary: no worries, it was a VW fest..but still fun. I got some hookups for lots of parts (at a distributor level..so hurray for price breaks 
). We didn't cruise 2 wasaga because we were too tired and it was a really hot day.
but the trip up from and down back to toronto was awsome. Me and a buddy in a brabus C230 were just rapeing the 400...no cops in sight...max speed reached 240, average cruisin speed 170. It was amazing..no traffic at all, and whatver little traffic was in the fast lane pulled over like 400 meters ahead when they hear me comming (huzah for fabspeed).
all in all a good day.

Nice DeAd-EyE.... 170 is just a good cruzing speed for these cars. I had a cop come after me a couple weeks ago as I went past him at 200kph. It was at night and he was parked on the shoulder with no lights on. He turned his lights on and came out as soon as I went by so I took it up to 250 and got out of sight and turned off. He never had a chance.
