Edmonton first time owner, wanted to say Hi. Purchased a 05 997 C2 in mint, showroom condition with 51.000kms. Extremely happy with the 911 and had a great first weekend with it...

Been on this board many times and learned so much! Thank you to all for all the info and look forward to much more.

Welcome to the community.
Now stay away from all the "what if this goes wrong" threads and drive that thing - sounds like you have some miles to make up for!

Porto - welcome and congratulations. Keep it stock, change the oil and have fun.
You'll notice, no spare tire.
You now have tire goo. It expires, check the date.
I kept a block of wood, a scissor jack and wrench in the car too.
Air compressor, and tire plugs and gloves. Extra liter of mobil 1, and CAA+.
Are you driving it in the winter? Shop for snow tires now.
Your new to you set is sitting in someone else's garage right now.

That’s all a great idea, was thinking about the trip next week with those concerns.

one question.., so we can fix a run flat tire with the tire plug repair kit?

Yes...

the 911 sits the way I bought it. It’s lowered to maximum... It looks great and rides like a rocket race car. I like it but a bit challenging getting in and out of parking lots.

This Carrera is in mint condition. I’m so happy and feel lucky to own it.

Great job on looking after it and respecting it after all those years...

thank you !
