This 997 has been for sale for awhile now, including for most of the last fall. The ask seems close enough, relative to the miles, so why isn't it selling? I'm hoping someone here has looked at it and can give a rundown on it.

It’s a non s dressed up as a gt3 , a lot of kms, check for borescoring, will need a major engine rebuild 25000-30000 in future. Do not buy this car without a borescope on #6 cylinder. But that’s jmo.

The incomplete GT3 package not selling here, docdrs, and ultimately a borescore check required for sure, but still wondering if a local rennlister might have gone that route already.

High kms, body mods, and anyone that thinks he needs a woman posing in the front seat spells sketchy. I sold a documented, well maintained 2002 996 Cabrio last summer for almost the same money as this.

You guys are really trying to warn me off this. I thought there might be some hope based on stated Porsche dealer service. And a bore scope with a PPI might assure on the miles.

Buying this car is like falling in love with your pimp.

Porsche service means zilch... bores still score and ims still fails.

That aside I think taking the taco wing off might help actually sell this car... that stupid wing ruins the lines.

The price is nothing special for a low optioned non "S" car with high miles and an interior that shows wear , typical used car lot 911 trade in..trust me I know ... I went thru a year and a half of such cars on the trader before I found the right one. Save your cash ....You can do better ...even if you have to wait and spend a few bucks more.
