Default Subaru parts

Shopping for Porsche and BMW parts is a breeze. Pretty much everything is top notch from respected brand names.
Trying to do a brake service on my wife's Outback and I have no idea of the quality of the brake parts I can buy.
https://www.crossdrilledrotors.ca/su...-and-rear.html
https://www.canadabrakes.com/listing...Front-and-Rear
https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...+pad+kit,13824
I'm tempted to just buy from the dealer, or better yet have them do it.
Any advice?

Buy on Amazon.ca Stoptech, DBA are good brand
For window shopping, go to rallysportdirect website
Other GTA Subaru parts outfit are: NV auto, garage16, touge tuning

I would just go with the Daily Driver package from Rock Auto and be done with it.

Did I mention this is my wife's DD?

This is what I'm thinking. I think I'll go with the coated and ceramic though.

Rod, maybe you should think about buying Porsche ceramic brakes from someone who has changed to steel for track.
Think of the project - and the bragging rights

I need to do the 100k service. Plugs, filters, and all the fluids. So many choices on rock auto and partsway. It would be great to figure out which are the best choices. The term OEM means nothing anymore.
Nothing but cheap brake kits on amazon for the Subaru. Maybe because it’s the 6 cylinder.

OEM is aftermarket and always have been. Just because a part is made in the same company as the OE, doesn't mean the quality is the same too.

Plugs, filters, I source off of amazon.
Brakes and pads? I don't like Chinese machined slugs.
Outback DD, I would lean toward Subaru parts. They can't be that expensive.
My STi Brembo's were 479/corner and 267 for pads from Subaru. I was not willing to pay $2.5k for parts.
I had very fair pricing out of https://www.jrponline.com/
Ask for them to be coated. Try and stay away from blinging her ride. She won't care about vented or cross drilled.
I hated my DD slotted rotors. They buzzed under braking.
You could probably sneak in cross drilled. But now you are meddling.

No bling. No drilled or slotted. Just quality.
Subaru Pads and Rotors - $779.36
Rock Auto / Coated with ceramic pads - $342.82
Plugs are $38.94 each at the dealer

Porsche does not make spark plugs.
Subaru does not make spark plugs.
Dealership spark plug at $38.94? That should be for four in my books.

I really don't know what your car takes so don't use my link.
In my book. A spark plug is 5-10 bucks. Maybe 20.

If you are willing to change the spark plugs at a normal interval (around every 50-60K kms) then regular cheap $5 copper core plugs are perfectly fine. The only difference is that they will not last 160K kms, other than that, they will function just as well as the $20 Iridium plugs.

Yup but to get an idea how worn they are, just pull the easiest one and look at the gap. If looks good, leave them alone.
