Talking OT: Anyone know a good lawyer for LTB or Small Claims?

I am having some issues with one of my tenants for residential property. Can anyone recommend me a good lawyer for LTB or Small Claims that they have used in the past?

Location: GTA

Thank you

Larry

be a member so you can access OT and see Cuda's Renter from hell thread. It will give you some ideas or just be entertaining to read. Or just post your problem there and others will advise you accordingly, and bypass going to court. The have everything from Hell's angels to corporate lawyers to professional landlords advising over there

Yup, and they will screw you over regardless what you do. Take them to court and you will end up apologizing for them not paying their rent. If they are not too much behind their rent, maybe offer them money to leave.

Not entirely true. If the renter makes money you can garnish their wadges.Kinda screwed if the don't make money though but then it completely your fault for not doing a credit check.

This is true but the hoops you have to jump through are discouraging enough that if the amount is not huge, landlords will not fight it. My parents been there and these professional renters know how to play the game. They often pay just enough to stop the eviction process and they they wait until that times comes again and again and again until the landlords just wants them out without pay.

Excellent team. Used them when I had a problem with my 996TT and a shop that butchered it. Won. Small claims.
Good luck
