X6 - any owners?
So lease is up on the X5 soon and now it's been rear ended as per my last thread.
Sales guy calls and says - hey - know it's not your usual thing but think you'd like it.
It's the X6 5.0 with Msport.
Smaller...faster and the lines are growing on me. Great deal going on at 1.9% lease rates which is hard to ignore.
Anyone here have one? Looking for some long term opinions.
Got the booster and forward facing in the back and lots of room,
For any long trips will have them install roof racks as we have a thule carrier so that's good too.

the residual on this x6 50 looks really bad. I think 48m/20,000km per/38% ? No factory credit going on for Apr

yes, lower interest rate ... but 44% for 36 months, that's pretty bad, esp. no factory credit to counter this ultra low residual. IMO.
cross shopping with 2019 X5 50. 36 months / 20,000km per / 53%. typical residual for this class of SUV but the interest rate is somewhat high at 4.49% - 0.75% loyalty = 3.75%
As long you are okay with the X6 (old design though) leasing figures, then that's all it matters.

I haven't been in a new X6. My brother inlaw had a X6 2014?
Wasn't that a four seater? Is the new one 5 seater?
Sales guy calling you, with 2o2o vehicles hitting the lots in 3 months?
Shop carefully.

for illustration
say 2019 X6 50 - base + Msport + Premium + Driving ***. Plus = MSRP $102,250
36 months term
20,000km per
44% residual
1.9% - 0.75 loyalty = 1.15% adjusted
estimate $3200 fees rolled into payment
$0 down
Assuming Excess wear protection not chosen/needed
Say 7% dealer discount
$0 factory credit offering in April
Projected monthly - $1,550 + taxes = OTR
Due on delivery - first + security + license
Total obligation - $55,800 + taxes (3 yrs term)
Vs.
say 2019 X5 50 - base + Prem. Excellence = MSRP $102,000
36 months term
20,000km per
53% residual
4.49% - 0.75 loyalty = 3.74% adjusted
estimate $3200 fees rolled into payment
$0 down
Assuming Excess wear protection not chosen/needed
Say 7% dealer discount // 4% dealer discount
$0 factory credit offering in April
Projected monthly - $1,460 + taxes = OTR (@7% discount) // $1,550 + taxes = OTR (@4% discount)
Due on delivery - first + security + license
Total obligation (@7% discount scenario) - $52,560 + taxes (3 yrs term) // $55,800 + taxes (3 yrs term) @ 4% discount scenario
