991.2 Targa 4S build
Hey guys, picked up my 991.2 Targa 4S August last year, after a thoughtful 1600kms, thought it was time to up the power. LOL. I read a bunch of posts and talked to a couple of people and decided on the following, Akra exhaust, Akra link pipes, IPD plenum, BMC Air filter, Techart springs and the newest Cobb Stage 2 tune. So, what do you guys think? Should I have done the I/C's as well? This isn't my track car, the .1 RS serves that duty, but I wanted a little more oomph for between the traffic lights. As you can tell by the huge number of kms I put on it, this is my weekend car, although I do intend to drive it a little more this coming season. Anyone else have a similar set up and wouldn't mind sharing their thoughts/impressions? Should I do the I/C's, or will I be okay without them given I don't intend to track this car?

the new 3.0 Carrera turbo engine is supposed to respond REALLY well to mods (no first hand experience yet)… tune and exhaust is always a great bet and probably perfect for street only, quality IC's are always a good thing but more beneficial for track and extended street 'fun'

Spend some time in the 991 specific section of Rennlist as there's an entire thread on the Cobb Tune plus other mods.

Thanks Cam, I did read through the Cobb post and several others before posting here. I was just hoping someone had a similar or even exact set up as what I'm having done and could have shared their thoughts. It's all good.
