Thumbs up Canada's 991 Series Production Numbers

We certainly only receive a fraction of what the U.S. does. Here are some neat stat's I've pulled for the 991 series (991.1 and 991.2):

Interesting that we got a higher slice of Turbo and GT cars. Presumably these are the cars that are harder to get build slots for. The C4 and C4S sell at higher numbers here too.

The numbers show we don't buy the C2 or C2 Cabrio at nearly the rates the US does. If you brought those numbers up to the ratio we buy GT and Turbo cars, we would be buying way more than 10% of what the US buys.

I wonder if the difference is the tenancy in Canada to downplay wealth vs the US. I mean, we aren't Sweden, but I guess we don't want to impress the neighbors with a C2.

It would be interesting to see how many of them are 7-speed manuals. Very few I am sure.

Nice, my GTS is one of 59 in Canada for 2015. More rare than a GT3 no less... certainly not as valuable though.

I love that there was only 1 2016 GT3 in all of Canada too... remember seeing it on Autotrader a couple years back when it first landed, funny enough it is currently on Autotrader again too. The best colour (Sapphire Blue) too.

Is it a PDK or a manual?

I don't think these are production numbers. It has to be sales in that year. WHere is this data from?

Direct from the motherland and it's production because our information is based on specific VINS. That's how accurate we are.

Trust me...I'm not the only one showing these stats as we have it down to a science tracking the GT cars (see the Unofficial GT3 stats in the GT3, GT3RS section of Rennlist).

Interesting that in 2016 the RS was about 40% of all 911 sales in Canada...higher that I would have thought.

It's dead accurate for the anniversary cars. I knew there were 50 total for Canada.

I am surprised only 1 gt3 was ordered in Canada for 2016. Also the lowest numbers for the states. What happened that year??

There are some missing vins that don't appear so I wouldn't say this is 100% but likely very accurate for non GT/special cars. I know there were some missing for the 2016 GT3RS and certainly for the 911R.

So are those numbers it for us or could we see a few more 2019 3RS? (or is it anyone's guess)?
