Yes, heavier and longer than the outgoing car, which I thought was bit on the big side already. I guess the Cayman now fills the void that the 911 left when it kept growing, but there was a part of me that hoped the 992 would be a little smaller and lighter. I didn't expect that, I just hoped for it.

The back end seems fussy, and the interior is less 911 and more everything else on the road, but other than those observations, I think it is a nice evolution.

I agree Cayman is probably what I would choose for a next car that I would spend serious track time in, lighter and less money needed to spend on for consumables. The 992 would be a great street car though.

I like most of the changes...but the price is up $9,100 on the S. PDK is now included in the base price and manual is a no charge option according to the Internet experts. That's a 7.6% increase for manual buyers.

Glad I bought my 2019 T.

I had a feeling the 992 would look bulbous and very happy I probably have the last narrow bodied gen.

Unless the non-S versions end up narrow-bodied, or a future T model, or some other of the innumerable variations that will be spun off...

Nope...won't happen. They have already announced all 992's are one widebody design.
