Default Fun in a well used 996 (video)

Jethro Bovigdon is a well known UK auto journo had has driven all the Porsches. I think he caught something worthwhile in this vidoe where he bought an older, not pristine 996, and gets back to the basic reason to have a Porsche.....

I know I'm in the minority but I think it's a better looking car than a 997 and mechanically it's all but identical...save with less power...

Great cars. Great driving experience. Mine was a great ownership experience.
I hope my GT4 experience ends up as good.

996 4S and Turbo are nice looking cars. Base and CS are hideous.

I miss mine as well. With a few modifications and a great setup, the car was just brilliant!
Link to a trackday at Mosport 8 years ago. Also proof that global warming is bull****...

IMHO, You will really enjoy the GT4. I test drove one recently at a dealership and preferred it to a GT3.
GT3 was pdk. Enjoy you made a great choice.

It is well taken care of. Pinned coolant lines, fixed rear wing, larger front rotors, new suspension, rebuilt tranny amd a new abs unit.
