The Turbo has been CarCapsul'ed for the winter
Did the oil change and clean up and put the car away for the winter. Not such a sad moment as I love the feel of pulling it out in the spring and feeling like it's a new car again!

About $150 more than a fitted Porsche cover but has constant airflow keeping the car dry all winter. It also keeps the mice out and protects the car from falling debris. |
nice.... You have falling debris from inside your garage ?
|
Not this garage, but I used to have a huge shelf that went across the width of my garage and I learned the hard way that when that shelf is packed, moving something on one side of the shelf pushed something on the other side which fell on my last Porsche. Now I don't have to worry about it. Even a winter shovel falling against the car is no issue now.

Just a question...can you thread a battery maintainer into the bubble?

Great idea. I will be putting mine covered with a battery tender up on my 2 post lift for the winter. Have a couple small items to attend to and I can park my snowblower under it. :) |
Yes, you can run a charger into the bubble and I did just that. There is actually a port set up for exactly that.
|
Link to bubble? |
|
looks great!
now for fun; how many people does it take to change the oil and why is that guy hiding in the first picture? Be sure to change the air in the bubble January first for 2019 air:) |
That should be on the lawn next to the inflatable Christmas stuff. LOL
|
That's pretty cool... I just park on some thick rubber mats, put the cover on and keep a fan circulating in the garage. It's kept the old girl heathy so far...
|
Reminds me of the movie Bubble Boy! :)
|
That thing just plain freaks me out looking at it.
