Yes, exactly! I knew where all the interesting cars were in my neighbourhood, and would always hope the garage doors were open. And old 1940s Jag, a Beetle with a Rolls front end, a friend of my parents had a black 911 cabrio. There were rumours of a Lamborghini around the corner, but I never saw it and I'm sure it wasn't true. But I remember examining the tire tracks in the snow in their driveway and comparing them to the tread patterns I saw on the cars in Motor Trend.
