would it not affect you if you wanted to sell your car and your car on pelican for example marketing it to Americans ? would make your car a lot more expensive to them no ?

it would affect the value of a car but I wouldn't think US lawmakers would care how it affects Canadian car values. This duty is for Americans, and I would think they would only care about the feedback from Americans not foreigners. I could be wrong which is why I was asking.

Maybe they want the Canadian forum members (RL, FChat etc) to convince their American member buddies to do it so both sides save (lower tariffs to maintain lower cost of the imported vehicle)
