Both great cars of course. I have driven neither of them, but my bias remains towards NA engines.

50 kg difference in weight but has 200 lb ft more torque. Amazing 553 torque starting at a mere 2,500 rpm. I don't know sounds like a no brainier to me.

GT2RS all day!

GT2 RS for me. I love torque. Having more of it and much earlier in the RPM range makes a car more fun for me. On a race track I'd love a GT3 provided it was all just for fun, but everywhere else give me that massive shove at any time, any rpm, any place.

2RS for sure and I love love love NA engines. This RS gen seems like it's all about the numbers and electronics.. in which case give me paddles and giant turbos with a driveable torque curve. If it's more about NA engine note and backroads.. then Touring or vanilla GT3 would do it. I like extremes though.. my 2c.

The overall performance level of these cars has gotten to the point where the plain GT3 is more fun/usable on the street. And if track and laptimes are important then the GT2 is on another level.
That ring video of the GT2RS was both out of this world impressive and soul-crushing. I go to the track enough to know that there is no way in hell I will ever be able to drive like that, so should I buy a car that can do that? Like the guy at the ski hill with the latest and greatest gear that can barely ski. He would probably enjoy his day waaay more if he had softer gear.
