Interesting. Thx for sharing. Looks like it is meant to be portable but very bulky for that purpose. I would prefer to have an in-ground scissor or two post.

https://www.asedeals.com/maha-usa-m-...two-post-lift/ Re-branded version... $16k USD.

Very 'rich'.... and you need a large garage to even move it around.

I'll stick with my 2-post.

Interesting, my garage isn't tall enough for a 2 or 4 post, but could fit this. But $16k is a bit much, I'll stick with my Quickjack for now.

The company responded to my query and pointed out that it uses a 400v @ 50hz motor and that won’t work in North America so their solution was fitting a 115v battery charger in it. All the same at 17K Euros FOB it is pricey. So I’ll be staying with the goole ole scissor lift.

i skimmed through the video, and i don't know if this would work in a sub 10ft garage.... at least not if it is meant to be locked at full height... The demonstrator is pretty much standing under the car.... I have a 10' ceiling and my midrise only goes up to 55" or so, and I can only work on my cars on a roller stool.

Yes, this would be a concern too, I saw some pictures that appear to be less than full height though. I just know it sucks not having a higher ceiling.

I’ve had a scissor lift for the past dozen years and it locks full height at about 4’ but there are plenty of stops getting there. Its great for working on the corners but sucks in the middle. But I replaced the complete drive line of the 968 on the lift and can’t imagine doing the project without it. It was alot less money too.

Check out the Maxjax units fellas. Gets the car 4’ off the ground - high enough to get under it on a roller seat. Best tool I have. Use sleeved inserts in the floor so that you can move columns out of the way when you don’t need them.

I have a four post for storage. Works but takes up a lot of real estate. I just received a single post unit that looks really good. I’ll get it assembled shortly.
