Speaking of gas, did you guys see Esso is opening Mobil stations in Canada? There are billboards in, and around, Montreal.

I figure if i buy 100L, I'll save $10,and less trips to the gas station... The boxster gets about 10L/100km, the motorcycle about 5.3L/100km

I've been bringing coffee in a thermos to work for the past 23 yrs.... so I got that covered...
last had a cigarette about 5 yrs ago, drink very little, and buy booze in the states when I'm down there.

Not really worth it in my opinion for me. I currently am getting between $0.08-$0.10 off/ L at Cdn Tire gas bars....

If I had more jerry cans with me, then it might be worth it. I've been filling up my motorcycle from home with jerry cans and a jiggy tube.

Interestingly, people seem to have a problem figuring out which side their gas filler is on on their vehicle... notice a lot of people pick lines opposite to where there filler is.

I get gas at The Queensway Costco when the line is fairly short. Last week I was in line there was a Vespa in front of me. I guess she saved .10 cents on her fill up.

They seem to be offering Esso gas anyways.

Now, if they were to offer 0% Ethanol 93 octane...I would be all over that.

What we really need in Ontario is Chevron.

I really don't see the point , same gas station different name .

Is it all just about branding ?

No they aren't , go to Europe and buy gas, you will get an idea of what real world gas prices are.

right now lets say in England, you would be paying about 2.50 a liter. CAD. Still think gas prices are high ?

https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/gasoline_prices/

canada sits about 1.32 USD on this list for comparison. Of course many central American Countries give away gas as a birthright.. like Venezuela. But overall we are not bad at all .. we are just used to the " good life"

You think that's bad, my wife overcooked my $30 rib eye last night, i wasn't able to source a winter package for the R8 in time and my BMO/TD dividends only increased by 25/13% respectively.

You forgot: it's impossible to get a Rolex these days and Bitcoin is holding below $50,000 USD
