Princess Auto or saskbattery(dot)com
I haven't been using optima as some have had issues with them, I'm now using Odyssey batteries. Best price on those I've found is saskbattery(dot)com, free delivery in 2 -3 days
I'm using the tiny Odyssey PC680 in my 914-6 3.0 twinplug, it wouldn't turn the engine fresh rebuild but now it's broken in it spins no problem.
On other peeps cars I've used the Odyssey PC925, half the size of a standard battery, but lots of juice.
Both these batteries will need a custom mount, you can buy them but I made my own. If you need top posts you have to buy a $15 kit.
They also have Deka batteries
I'm pretty sure the 34r is the same stock size for a 914

Yeah seems like saskbattery is the cheapest with free shipping.
I already got the plate coming from Yellow Dog Motorsports (had to ship to US mailbox). Redtop worked great on my 986, starts at -25C no problem.
