Default Before and After

996 C4S 96 mm bored out with nikasil plated aluminum liners and 100 mm wossner pistons (3.6l to 3.9l), this is the 4,5,6 bank before and after photo. Funny thing is the car still ran strong just burnt a lot of oil and blew pillows of smoke when during cold startups. Only 135,000 km on the engine.

Nothing looks better than a virgin cylinder bore

I thought LN Engineering was the only one qualified to work on these engines. Or so they make you think.

Interesting to see the bore scoring stopped about an inch from the top of the liner. Probably kept the compression decent enough and why it still ran like a champ, sans the oil burning!
