Good indy shop in Montreal/Quebec City for PPI?

Hey,

Any recommendations for a good indy shop to do a PPI on a Boxter, in Montreal and Quebec City, or near by?

Thanks.

Do a search on the Rennsport Forum.
You will find different options and opinions.
Montreal: Ron Green, WeTune, GTA,....

As above,

Andrew at WeTune is a favourite. Experienced, and easy to deal with.

Cheers

Matt

I've heard good things about Ron Green

We can handle it. We also include DME log and alignment/chassis printout

Hi Greg - was wondering, what's the procedure for checking for paintwork on Alu bodied cars?

Have a friend looking into a 2016 F-type Jag (auction car). Would be grateful for any tips you may have.

Cheers

Matt

I suggest getting a digital paint thickness gauge. You can get them on Amazon for about 50$ What you are looking for is uniformness across the entire car. Signs of obvious respray would be rough surfaces under the hood, door seems, trunk seams etc. Try to compare panel gaps as well, on a Jag they should be pretty tight and uniform.
