Default Toronto Holiday Lunch (Update)

OK, we seem to have a few people interested and Sunday, December 28 seems to be the preferred day for most. The meet details are as follows:

Sunday, December 28, 2003 at 11:45
Casey's Restaurant in on William Kitchen Road in Kennedy Commons (South east corner of Kennedy Road and Hwy 401 in Scarborough). I picked this location because it is easily accessible from most highways and it's away from major shopping malls (since Boxing Day always turns into Boxing Weekend).

If you need further directions, see map at
http://ca.maps.yahoo.com/maps_result...rio&country=ca)
or:
If you're heading east on Hwy 401, get off at the Kennedy Road exit and stay in the central lane to continue straight through the lights (do not turn north or south on Kennedy). You will be in the Kennedy Commons mall at that point and Casey's will be on your left.

So far, we have the following people interested and committed:

Yongster (GT3 and C4S)
Carbon_00 ('02 Targa)
Jim 7 (944?)
Stan (Boxster S)
Doug ('87 Targa)
Alon ('02 C2)

Anyone else?
Peckster?
Nacelle?
Other Toronto Guys?

I will also do a cross-post on the 996 and GT3/GT2 forums.

Please RSVP to me at alon.gat@rci.rogers.com so when I have a final count, I'll call the restaurant and make reservations for us.

Thanks guys and have a happy and safe holiday!

Shame on you (for going to Florida and for having to work). When are you back in town?

Mary and I would like to thank and wanted to say we enjoyed meeting people we had only met on the 'net'. Great cars guys. The Sudbury dash was done in the rain and wow what a drive, rain all the way up then down thick fog for 150 km then driving rain all the way back for 415 km.

Really sorry to have missed this - was in Cali - test driving a C4 (prolly gonna buy it) - A Cayenne (friend is prolly gonna buy it) and managed to spend a full day (400 miles!) driving a Boxster S up and down Hiway 1. It was quite a trip!

I'll be out for the next lunch for sure!

Oh boy, Rally Buy. It sounds like you had a terrible time in the nice weather, driving nice cars, looking at nice sites. We hope to see you next time.
