993 Turbo at Mark Motors
Hello all. They are making room for my car now in their used Porsche showroom at Mark Motors. This is a fine example of an original (Canadian) 993TT is now at M M in Ottawa. It is an all original unmolested car....Canadian heritage which condition defies its 95,xxx KM on the clock. Hardbacks..Red Belts..COA. The Turbos just rebuilt by them 300 KM ago. Solid, smooth and rattle free example of a fine vintage car - and the best color for that body imho. It is their's to price and Mike McNeely is the contact mmcneely@markmotorsporsche.com
Special car and I am sorry I can't have them all.

So, you're selling the car everyone told you to keep? You posted on just about every Rennlist Forum for advice. Good luck.

Yes...in the end...300 KM on the car in one year of ownership it is not the car for me. I have come to the realization that I am going to start to enjoy my cars moving forward - and in as much as I agreed that 993tt will rise 5% a year, there was no joy (for me anyway) seeing it covered in the garage despite telling myself I had to have it in my 'collection' until I finally realized this summer.....I am not a collector. Sold my wife's PTS Targa too because when the thing sat in the garage for 5 weeks without turning the key on it after I got her a new RS 3 - and low and behold, she put 2500 KM on it the Audi in the first month. I will have one Porsche from now on (GT3 touring) and drive the darn thing at least twice a week. Getting practical in my old age. BTW...anybody got an old G50 Targa for sale???

+++++++1 on having the car that you get to use more. Hence the reason i am probably going to sell my 964 in spring. I've only managed to put less than 1000 kms in 2 years lol.
I get to stare at it mostly via my security cam though!

There's the problem Once a car goes up on one of the lifts, there's a huge psychological barrier to getting it down and off. Especially if you have to clean up all that **** underneath

Just curious as mine might be extremely tight for a lift but confirming it next week with the vendor.

I really thought about it long & hard but that's going back the same direction. Instead of 964 that 993 will be a lift queen. I tend to drive my more modern Porsche's more often.
I think you nailed it Jamie. Usually there's nothing underneath the lift. I will be clearing that mess this weekend.
Fits like a charm. My 997.2 4S in the pic below, and now my 991 slides in with plenty of room in between. I don't have high ceilings, its 10' at the highest point but it really depends on how tall are the cars that'll be going over and under the lift.
