Default 991 turbo options

Looking at a few for sale, can’t find any that went for pccb or pdcc and most of the turbo S ditched the centrelock wheels. Were the Canadian options different from the USA options in pricing (apart from the exchange rate)?

PCCB were standard on the S but optional on the non-S. If you were going to get PCCB on the non S you would have gotten better value to just get the S. Centre locks were standard but 5 bolts were a no cost option. Some avoided centre lock because of the special tool/cost of the centre locks. I love the look but 5 bolt is easier. I am not sure if the take rate on PDDC. I quite like it on my car (not a turbo) but there have been reports of failures at the track. Costly and some say it doesn’t feel natural. Again,I have add no issues but I don’t track my car. I suspect the majority of cars don’t have it. Not sure if that helps.

I wondered about the Pdcc, EVO did a track test of a stock 991 turbo and really enjoyed not having the Pdcc. I like the look of the centrelock wheels too, I’ll have to have a look at the tool for getting them off since a few people have told me it’s a hassle.

Sounds like a lovely car. Sadly the wife would prefer to drive a coupe so that’s what I’m chasing after. Canadian dollar seems to favor one that’s local rather than over the border.

Can someone explain these rims please, they look like 918 but not quite. Or were they a 991 option?
