2017 PTS Targa 4S soon on the market - value opinion?
There is only so much water in the well - and space in the garage - so after much consternation and deliberation, my wife's 2017 Targa 4S will be offered for sale soon now that my GT3 Touring is confirmed and on the way. The car is very special...with PTS Ice Blue Metallic and over $45K in options including Premium Plus package with 18 ways - Sport package, Extended leather and Burmeister. It is a unique and beautiful car which had a sticker of $ 190 K on it plus HRE wheels. Has less than 5000 KM on it. Alternatively, my 993TT would have to go and well...not crazy about that idea either.
I am asking for opinions to value of the T4S guys.
Please PM with thoughts - other than I am an idiot to spend so much money on cars - which I know.

Pfaff would ask $180K for it. Maybe more...

You can offer $160,000, but most likely it will sell in the $120,000 to $140,000 CDN range. You may have better results getting it across the border. Burmeister audio and PTS will not add much $value, but it may sell quicker. Late in the season so may not sell until Spring 2018, so will be even lower. You may be better off trading it back to the dealer and saving yourself some tax.

All..thank you for the kind words on the Targa. I am really torn because I quite like the car but if I keep it up, I'll be retired and forced to live in a 911! My GT3 touring doesn't arrive until Jan Or early Feb so see what happens. Haven't spoken with my dealer with any sincerity to trade value but all they appear to want to talk to me about with me is my 993tt - which I get. I knew PTS and Burmeister were a big play when I ordered this Targa for her but man it is one pretty car.

No opinion on price, but I'll echo the sentiment that that car is gorgeous. I think the 991 targa is the best looking car Porsche has built since the 993.

Well I guess it comes down to availability of the Targa also. You don't see that many of them, so if demand is high and there are waiting lists you might get top dollar, especially into the US if sold in US dollars.
but all that aside dude there are worse ways to retire

this Targa is one of the nicest colors outside of black.
Id pull the HRE wheels and trade it in on GT3T
Check trader.ca for what people are asking for them in canada.
Keep the 993 turbo or sell it to me
If timing was right, id buy the two cars from you as my wife is interested in a targa.

Interior picture
Fellow RLer asked me to send them an interior picture which I can't seem to do in the PM dialogue box so posting it here. Colour is Graphite Blue/ Chalk which (to me) compliments the Ice Blue Metallic PTS colour perfectly. Tough to get a sense of the colour given the lighting and I phone shot...but the interior is a very pleasant place to spend time in. +- 6400KM (+- 4000 miles) now.
