Looking for a 997 with damaged engine

Does anyone have or know of anyone with a 997 or 996 that has a blown engine and is looking to sell it rather than fix it?
I am looking for a project. Please PM the details.

Thanks

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking.

What's the process of importing a non-runner car from the US to Canada ?

I suppose you have to pay duty & GST based on a value ? Is that just the sale price ? or some value in CRA's book ?

$5K USD, a little over five years ago. It's a '99.

Same process as a running car. Paid duty and GST on the bill of sale (bought it form a dealer, it was a trade in). But even if it was a private sale (did that for someone with another 996) the duty/taxes were all based on the bill of sale too.

What is the duty % for a non-US made car ?
I wonder if the Free trade agreement with the EU could save a few bucks importing European cars in the future

i would imagine only if brought in directly from Europe if it was going to happen at all.
Bringing a car from there I would imagine would be horrifically expensive in freight alone.

If you can get it to Rotterdam it's only around $2K CDN.
