I was hoping to bore the engine to 4.0 with FSI built before I move back to Taiwan. I guess, I have to be realistic with that dream now

Is there a FB group? Maybe to start one from there. We have a Porsche Page for Taiwanese in America.

Default Just wanted to say Hi!

Hello guys, just wanted to say hello. Been lurking on the forums for awhile but I have never posted. I have a 993 c2s and I live in Taipei. Did anyone hear about a new law they are trying to pass so that air cooled porsches can get plates again? Ive been hearing rumors of a classic car law where it is easier for older cars to pass inspection. If anyone has heard of this please share this information. Thanks!!

I will pay attention to this space and if I find anything new I will post here. Ultimately, I would like to either bring a 911 back with me when we are ready to move.

I've been doing more research on this subject as I would like to import more air cooled porsche's into Taiwan. I've heard its pretty much impossible to pass inspection now so I guess this is out of the question. The only way is to wait for that classic car law to pass (it might not ever pass to be honest haha), or just buy one in Taiwan. Aircooled prices are pretty ridiculous here and the worse part is a lot of the ones for sale are tiptronic.

Also Taiwanese here, have a 993 C4S. Can you share the FB link for the Taiwanese Porsche page? Might go back this summer. Thanks.

Might be going back end of this year if TW opens up without quarantine! Someone mentioned while back there is a FB group. Is that still active? Link? Thanks!
