The drive up the South Island was a real mission, made it to the boat with minutes to spare. Roads were in a bad state but was still a lot of fun. Did the same trip in a 1978 SC that I bought from Chch about 7 years ago
Welcome Jake, are you signed up for June date at Puke?

If its dry I will take my SC along, wet, will be in a Renault Megane, I will keep a look out for you. Cheers, Pel

A New Zealand Rennlisters thread, very nice! We are a kiwi-owned GT-Specialty shop, I'm sure you all will get a kick out of our logo : )

Nice! Do many locals comment on it? Can't be that many kiwis in Florida.

You wouldn't think so, but most everyone in the Florida Porsche community knows of Gavin Riches" The Kiwi" as he has made quite the impact here over the last 20 or so years. Both Gavin and his wife Amy have been invaluable in the development of the DE program over the years for Suncoast Region PCA at Sebring. When we came up with the slogan "Trust the Kiwi" last season and incorporated it into our logo it spread like wildfire around here, we literally can't keep the stickers in stock haha.

Deleted because of, well many things, mostly our current climate of over the top PC-ism, and of course, and always ultimately, comradeship.

Unnecessary racism...

I'm not that PC about most things Matt, but think it important to try and change the general behaviour when it comes to racial awareness and consideration. Multi racial non gender conformative hugs all round buddy.

Default 6th Annual RSG North Island Track Tour!

Gents

Its still rather lonely here. To think this was once our lounge, our kitchen and occasionally our bedroom!

An advance heads up that the Rennsport Gruppe will be holding its 6th annual (and infamous) North Island Track Tour (NITT) . Manfield Friday 02 November and Taupo (BMMP) Saturday 03 November followed by a dinner/social gathering.

We are hoping for a good turn out to make this fixture durable! Cost is reasonable and we welcome newcomers - please PM or see RSG website and FB page for details...

Cheers

Since we need some banter here.

2018, 4 owners, >1000 kms, Sapphire Blue.... this looks like an RSG members car which had an off??

If so, wonder if the engine was replaced to be sub 1000km?

Doesn't smell right.

I still miss the forum. Have deleted the Facebook app off my phone as it was just noise. I wish they still made the Groups app, as that and Messenger would suffice.

Keen on NITT this year, in need of some driving! Will keep an eye on numbers and possibly reach out to some friends if we need to bump them up.

Did some searching - unless it has been re-vinned I don't think it's an RSG car (unless there was a third Sapphire Blue GT4 in the group)?

This car:

Hi All. Just working on NITT announcement this evening. The more the merrier!

Pretty sure that's not Marks old car. It was statutory write off and will be de-reg title. plus his did not have PCCB...

Mark, where did you get to with your Megane project? It was looking promising.
