Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

Paul. That made Jo and I smile. She very much remember the wet shoes from the first stage on the first day when she had to squat in a ditch. Its a blokes world eh!

Guys. Looks like a fairly small Tour field this year. What do you have - around 30 cars? Recognise 3/4 of the field.
Darins in the Cayman not tour leader this year?
I see Dan playing with the Turbo I hope its behaving itself. Seems to need a bit of talking to by PC.

Doug. That's just my point. You need to compare my smile with theirs at the end of the event! I like to sing for my supper. However I confess the "get off the plane, get in it, drive it ragged and drop it into storage on the way to the airport" reliability appeal of a new car is starting to nag on me....

Rally car has hit a pole on our 2nd to last stage so we're skipping it sadly. This is a stage we all do twice and a nice long one at that. One more and we are done for the day.
Paul reckons we are cranking the Boxster up quicker and quicker. He's a good coach. Just the one sphincter clenching moment thus far

Paul. Thanks for that its as I thought.
Douggie. Never had an issue with cornering speed in the 993. GT3 would be WAY to quick between the corners. If they lift the limit back to where it was a few years back would interest me but at 160 Id be struggling to keep the 993 legal and Id rather be peddling hard to catch the guy in-front than fiddling with the heated seats and 12 speaker stereo because Im being held up.
The guys in the rennaut 260 there this year? Ones a Brit. They were faster than the big boys in that thing. Pedalled it very well (driver was an ex race driver I recall).
Half way through now. Should be feeling good. Loosened up and now taking it in your stride. Will sleep well tonight and tomorrow. Whens Pauls turn to drive?

Macca and Pcarplayer - nice machines guys. Most Ducatis just look so clean, well resolved and aggressive. Some jap bikes look good too but too often it seems like someone was told to just raid the parts bin leftovers - none of the angles seem to align.
Paul, Doug et al: keep those Tour shots coming (well the car ones anyway ) Bummer about the lost stage - we lost one of four at the Ecotech too. Would rather be out there with you but instead spent a bit of time this morning hunting down and fixing a broken wire for the Turbo's high mounted stop light so it can get it's WOF.
Three Wheelin'
just an update
day one looked great- no real risks taken and running 5th in 4wd and leading class.
Day 2 not so good. Co driver Kim and I both driving. Ss 11 ran up a small bank with Kim driving and now replacing front suspension arms Not sure if we can get going again. fingers crossed. We may have other harder problems to solve not sure yet
