At one stage I was seriously contemplating a European trip in the Turbo 3.6 and leaving it there for sale. Now not sure what I would do with the cash, no asset classes look safe.
Its in miles, last time I heard it had done around 8,000 miles. Its been registered to look like a NZ new car ie the plate is SB**** but it came into NZ in 2003 only done 64 (yes 64) miles.

Seriously Graham. I knew the first owner of that car. He owned Maui Camper Vans in Auckland and bought that car after he sold shares in his company to some large conglomerate. I used to holiday next to his pad in Hatipai Taupo. He only kept it 18 months then traded it in on a new exotic. It did live in Napier once as well. Ferrar'is tend to have alot of owners who use them as a weekend drive only At least yours will now get driven. Those service costs look very reasonable. The 360 was the first Fezza to have reasonable maintenance costs and although like any car they suffer age related issues they seem much less temperamental than earlier models...

Yeh, and WTF is this sticky button thing going on? It's crap. I feel dirty.
hahaha, that's no different to the little issues every car gets, yes, including Porsche

This came from a Christchurch guy who apparantly had it in a collection.
Yesterday I did half the miles than the car has done in the last two years.
It will get driven.
One day you'll know why.

No flaming here - just trying to decide which one I'd have first... the red one or the blue one! Two gorgeous but very different motors side by side there. Pretty cool to have the choice eh.

Congratulations, looks amazing. Any chance you're coming on James's run to Pauanui on the 28th, so we can have a perv?

Most likely. I have a standing order to source a clean long nose for an Indonesian colleague and that has planted the seed in my mind for a future purchase. More fun than dealing with tenants, and bought right it may even turn out to a better investment than other alternatives.

Another fab Porsche Club outing at Ardmore Airport today. Approx. 27 Porsches on a bit of unused runway.

Michael deserves a special mention as he came 8th overall today, quite impressive in a standard 944 considering the number of boxters and late model 350hp + machinery around today.

Good to see Masa is still driving his Turbo 3.6 the way Porsche intended.

Thanks Paul, great pics and a great day. And I hate to correct you but it looks like I ended up 5th overall

Not really sure how it happened actually -- I certainly wasn't making up any time on the straights! However the car is so well behaved that I seem to be able to chuck it into the corners without too many dramas. (Apart from that spin on my first lap of course, that amount of gravel was quite a surprise...)

I'm a bit scared to inspect my tyres though, might leave that for another day

Nice to meet Ash there today also.

No 3.6T on the track today - just a Sunday drive turn up unfortunately...
