I think the solution on the next tour is to designate someone in each group to take footage. Mind you, Taupo is not easy to get good footage as there aren't many close vantage points.

Ha ha, maybe I was trying to turn off the annoying "brake pads low" warning message.

How's the TT going? It was a stonking price - did it match up to expectations - nothing wrong with it etc?

Just back from Europe myself. Looks like the NITT was a huge success.
No I hadn't thought of that. Thanks. Yes, we had a great time in the NITT. Definitely looking forward to repeating it after the SITT in March

I think it actually went a bit like this:

Friday afternoon: "Oh man, that was awesome! I just did 3 sessions in a row, got everything nice and hot, it all felt great and I went hard!"

Saturday morning: "My car no worky."

Going great! The more I drive it the more I love it. Nothing major wrong. Biggest issue so far is corrosion on the valve stems (metal valve caps in the UK is not a good idea for what it's worth...) so will get them all replaced, sensors seem fine so don't expect this to cost much at all. Wheels could use a refurb, and car could use a detail, but other than a few minor cosmetic issues it seems bulletproof. Still shocked at the final price for the car, was expecting it to push past $100k.

Great stuff - hard to believe you can drive a supercar that cost $300k+ only 5-6 years ago for what that one went for. Stunning value.

There are a couple in OT that are quite a bit longer. But cracking 5,000 posts this week was a milestone. Perhaps we should celebrate with a Rennlist beer - anyone up for one in the next few weeks given the next full trackday excl twilights isn't til Nov?

If we do it on or after 5 October, I can bring footage and data from Pukekohe.
