Been a big week on the P Car front, finally have all three back from the garage.

SC has had the suspension overhauled 23 front 31 rear torsion bars, adjustable front sway, new urethane all round, turbo tie rods, rebuilt dampers, neg camber ball joints, neg top plates, new strut tops, rear arms, semi solid engine & gearbox mounts. The car is a revelation, night and day, probably the best Porsche money I've spent.

The new exhaust & turbo on the 930 isn't quite what I expected, doesn't feel like any power has been gained, however the car is far more driveable, the boost kicks in around 2500 instead of 3500 and feels more progressive, I think it takes some "special" from the car as the on/off nature has been taken a little, definitely an improvement, but only worthwhile if your current setup is shot in my view, I have only driven the car from Grey Lynn to Milford so far, so maybe a good drive is needed.

GT3 now goes in for new rear shocks.

Between the uprated brakes, rebuilt box & suspension, the SC has become a rock solid car, so light to drive, should really do at least one TACCOC event in it.

Pel, Sounds like you have been busy indeed! Sounds like the new turbo is bringing the boost in earlier on the 930, but how does the exhaust part sound?

GT3 next up for some loving. The Porsche vendors and workshops must be loving you mate. I cant say I miss that aspect of old Pcar ownership LOL!

On that subject this NZ new car with 250km delivery miles could be purchased at under list of someone wanted to haggle a bit. Looks like a good deal.

375k plus options and ORC. The white one would have been around 390k all in. You could buy it for that from Armstrong. Has 250 delivery Km...

Apologies.

I just looked at the NZ price sheet and options sheet I was sent and my memory inst serving me as well as I had thought.

The NZ list price was $360K + ORC (typically around 2K). The options Ive been through and they would have costed $20290 so total was $382,290.

Ive attached the NZ price list and options price list below if anyone is interested.

If this could be purchased around its original RRP I think it would be fair buying today. With the new 991.2 GT3 around the corner I think this would be more a collectors car than a track hack. There is talk there may not be a next GT3RS and instead the GT2RS will take its place...not sure if that will happen...

The next GT3 will have the option of the 6spd MT fitted to the 911R and will be 4.0L. It will launch March 2017.

A genuine Turbo. Could never see me refitting it so unloaded it a while ago.
