OZ Wheels Pricing
Hey guys. I've had a response back from my tire/wheel guy. The factory won't confirm availability or pricing until they have the year, model and chassis codes. He said he knows its a pain but they won't confirm anything without themselves being sure of suitability.

So if you are genuinely interested in a set of OZ alloys ie: have the money now and if the deal is right you'll buy them... Then reply to this post with the relevant details and I will pass it on and come back with a price. Remember I can't promise it'll be better than importing from the US but from my own experience I'm hopeful it will be.
Supplying the info is not a commitment to buy but I also dont want to bother him with pricing if your just curious. From my memory of previous interest I think there were 3 people interested?
I hadn't been able to reply sooner as I have been away.

I really need to get my A into G and get my GTI back on the track. Funny thing was my Brothers car has higher mid corner speeds over the Ferraris.

Macca that Cooper S can fly! It has camber plates but even at 2.5 degrees negative on the front the outer shoulders were wearing. With virtually no roll, squat or dive, a Quaife diff and ABS it just tore the centre tread blocks out of its tyres (215/35/18 Yoky Parada 2s) all the way round! The tyres & not the suspension were the limiting factor - something I've never encountered before.
The only car I've driven which felt like that rose-jointed Mini was a Formula Renault single-seater (also rose-jointed). It made the Ferrari 355 & 360 I tried on track feel like a couple of boats. You could drive over a coin & tell if it was heads or tails up!
At Bedford Autodrome on the GT Circuit (4.2 miles) - before its remap with bigger injectors, it was pretty much on a par with a stripped/caged 968 trackday car which was running on Formula R tyres (remember the Mini has a full leather interior, heated seats, air con, glass sunroof, ICE etc) - so not too shabby!
I've been pleading with my brother (Hamish) to take it to HD! May be he'll get there next summer.

Haha, thanks Mark, Ill see how I go.
I do about 1.27/28's at Manfield - love that track.
We had an unusual coloured 997 C2 manual at the Taupo track day. It was cream in colour which really grew on me. The car was a manual as well. Silly me, I didnt get a photo of it

Hi, when I get back, I'll look up the car details and get a wheel spec
