Paul works for long periods on holders of cars he would be interested in buying. A good tactic in this case as the open marketing of the car would have likely achieved a higher price. Maybe the seller didn't care? I can understand that decision if the last few $000 is only achieved by dealing with tyre kickers and wannabes.

The Blue LHD 964 C2 on Trademe has been sold to the UK. It's NZ price is circa GBP 20,000. One of the reasons I think they are price bound in NZ is relative oversupply so we need to export more. Macca, time to get working on the master plan.
Nice dampers, terrible voiceover. This is why you pay a professional... or at least memorize the correct pronunciation of the brand name so that you don't switch back and forth during a one minute clip.
Pretty much correct. If there was an obvious lower cost way to do this, someone in the group would have worked it out. Well actually there is a lower cost way. You bring your well maintained road tyred car to the track and you enjoy it for what it is. If the tyres go off, you button off or sit out a session. If the GT3 is up your butt you waive him/her on. Unfortunately not many of us seem to be wired this way.
I just can't listen to that guy. There must be a school for bad voice overs

I liked that car and spares package as a streetable GT3Cup type machine and targa hack. I think its was fair buying 85-90K.

I think it has to do with timing the market.
6-12 months ago 6.1 and 6.2 GT3 were only $70-80K - most current owners paid this.
A bit like 6-12 months ago you could get a 7.1 RS for sub $150K, now closer to $200K.
2 years ago we could have all purchased the ex-sultan Red 964 T with only 9K and X50 package for circa $130K, now that car is worth $400K?
We all know Doug immaculately timed the purchase of Lola.
If Matt held out on flicking the 4.0 RS by six months he too may have made another hundie?
Timing..................??
