Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
Great tips Pete! I'll drop into Contis if I can get away. Meantime I hunted down some of those streams:
http://www.porsche.com/international...livestreaming/
http://www.dailymotion.com/lemans-tv
and what looks to be Radio Le Mans: http://direct.sharp-stream.com/radioshow.mp3
There will likely be better ones out there too...

Yep - dried out nicely mid afternoon.
Amazing how it has changed over the years - only a handful of old school machines and a ton of modern metal. Good to see (almost) every iteration of turbo - 930, 964 3.3, 993TT, 996, 997, 991 - only missing a 964 3.6 for the full set.
Sorry Jason but Mr Black was a highlight for me - immaculate!

Paul, thanks for the organisation. It was good to see you got out for a hoon. I utterly love your car. I dearly want a gt3 even more now
Capping off the great day was seeing D Mackrell's RS come sliding past me on the motorway just before i exited

I had a look at the PCNZ FB page. It looks like it was a sea of silver cars (a few black and white thrown in). Lots of 996 too. Jasons Maritime Blue car stood out very nicely indeed. Thats wasn't Max Fletcher in the 993TT was it?
Trans-Tasman relations may have taken a bit of a hit today - Mark Webber in the #17 919 had to serve a 1 minute penalty when he was leading the race by a few seconds from an Audi, with that penalty reportedly having been incurred earlier in the race by Brendon Hartley for passing under yellow. Over 8 hours in and there was only a few seconds in it still with Porsche-Audi-Porsche-Audi-Porsche-Audi at the front (though 3 or so safety car periods are partly responsible for that).
Considering what's in our driveways, Paul and I are probably biting our nails a little less than most, though P-P-P-A-A-A would still be a better state of events!

Walt thanks for the commentary. I cant stream anything here - simply dont have the bandwidth. Stayed up and watched the results for the first hour of the race and just catching up now. Looks very close racing between Audi & Porshce!
Had a look at the Targa photos from Proshotz. Chose about 4-6 I liked went to purchase (medium resolution) and they wanted $40 a medium resolution digital file WTF!!! The previous outfit GroundSky Photography were great, their shots were sharper, their angles and locations better and they charged $70 for a whole disc with all your images....this $40 a medium resolution single pictures. Talk about adding insult to injury!

Not so pretty in the GTE category though. Think both factory 911s out with BBQ problems.
