With regards to Prestigio insurance for our RSG track days my most recent acceptance terms from them had the standard requirement that I have completed driver training within the last 12 months. Previously they had marked this as not applicable as I had originally made a case for all the driver training I had done at Porsche Mt Cotton in Queensland (level 1,2 and 3).

So I put together a list of the driver training and all of the track days I've since attended with the argument that I was suitably experienced not to require this condition.

This was accepted by Prestigio. I thought others who may be in a similar situation with experience might like to know this.

I could understand if this was another size ball or adapter...

I'm surprised you haven't bought bcaway's Fabspeed race muffler for Herman yet.

Thanks for this Doug - very helpful to know that a pragmatic approach worked. This one worried me a bit when I had the Cayman out - was relying on the day Matt G and I took instruction from Stu at Puke.

Sam - I see that you have got to reserve at least on the wheels - great stuff. Budget for the race car will be coming along nicely!

Is anyone likely to be passing through Pirongia in the next week or so? I have a wheel down there with a 221 on it that I need to get back to Akl. More precisely - I need to get it to Steve's shed at HD but Akl fine also.

Red rears. Orange and red don't go well. Not really necessary but makes it look a bit cleaner

Racoguy is doing the GT3 central muffle mod, very sexy, but I already have a central muffler on one car

When I get time I'm going to see if I can do a switchable muffler using the existing parts. I have a spare second muffler.

Thanks - after a road car though. Not enough skill to handle a real race car.....

Not even sure it will fit but it was worth $60 to see. Cheaper than buying more cars. Someone please bid on the purple machine otherwise I have a parking problem.
