I may know of a NZ new 94 Man 993 Black/Black, 120km's with soft back turbo seats for sale. Car looks to be 8/10 condition at first glance. I won't publicly disclose price - but fair to say a few $$ more than the 2 cheapies that recently sold - so don't expect a $50K bargain.
PM me if anyone is interested.

Busy night on the Solid Works looking at a first cut for the evolving door furniture. The structure will be bare aluminium - maybe anodised, and it will have welded edges with the welds on show then knocked back a bit to soften the look - but I want a bit of texture showing rather than perfectly finished corners.
Top pad will be leather covered.
Big holes are welded in tubes which as well as just decoration give access to fixings to the door.

Don't know. I saw it last Thursday and the inside was done. Steve was getting the guy to remove the underbody coating that he had applied to the inner guards. It was quite coarse and not much like the factory finish so it is being redone and will take paint and come out much smoother. You can see at the far right on the front guard inner support panel, the finish is how it is supposed to be.

Jeepers, good things sure take time aye. I expected it would be all painted and back in the assembly shop again by now. Loving the orange finish on the inside of the cabin and frunk.

It wont take you long before you realise how overpriced NZ is. I think they price goods in like with Auckland property prices not incomes LOL!

Macca you are so right. I have this unit. Paid NZ$950 for it in NZ a couple of years ago. Like the fact i can swap it between vehicles, even use it in the Cayenne when towing on the legal limit to stop the annoying petty tickets.
I'm now buying virtually all my parts offshore (thanks to your lead) and its so easy and a massive saving of hard earned dosh. Most stuff arrives in only a week.

One more thing. I guess you'd need to plug it into your pc and download the nz map database. I don't imagine the cone with all the world maps. I suspect the importers do that to them. Cant be hard to do. I've never updated mine, haven't felt the need to.

Looks remarkable for its age. NZ new cars are often mechanically much cleaner than imports I find. This is a good example, desirable colour with modest mileage for anyone in the market. Great for the collector.
