Default Terry Hilton Automotive in Dubai

I have been taking my cars to Terry for a number of years now, and it really has been great having someone who actually knows what they are doing on these older cars. Before Terry I tried every "highly recommended Porsche Specialist" and they all just seem to make things worse, and at great expense. I've always found Terry's service to be excellent, and he really is a great guy to chat to. I really would recommend Terry to anyone looking for a decent, reasonably priced, and someone who is themselves a genuine car enthusiast to look after their vehicles. After all the 928 is probably the most complicated car ever built, and Terry is in my opinion the only person keeping these cars alive in the Middle East.

If anyone would like his details, PM me and I would be happy to forward them.

I support this view, Terry did a good job looking after my 928 during my stay in Dubai. Hard working and always going the extra mile when needed, for the Middle East 928 or other Porsche owners Terry is a true find. Highly recommended.

I agree wholeheartedly with the comments above guys.

Terry is certainly the only reputable and knowledgeable 928 mechanic in Dubai without question.
Not only that but he has a genuine and honest approach to getting you back on the road again and sometimes even when that means a loss to his own business as he does not bill all the hours he puts into your car if he thinks its unfair. Tell me another mechanic that will repair or troubleshoot your car on his own time!!
You couldn't meet a more genuine, nice fella than Terry and he can fix most cars he comes across and is not just limited to the 928.

As a disclaimer, I have no financial interest whatsoever in Terry's business but he is the only person that has taken car of both of my cars for some years now and as such I'm just passing on my recommendation for those that may need it for a top class mechanic.

I'd appreciate Terry's details. I just got a long list of advisories from a Porsche independent here in Dubai, and I think I smell BS...

Default Desperate to find VIN no and car history

I truly hope its not the stuff wilritten in Japanese that is the VIN number

Good day. Recently bought a 928, white color, from Emirates Auctions Dubai and am very desperate to find any info at all from anyone who knows any history on this car. I can't seem to find a VIN no AT ALL no matter where i looked, under front windscreen, on both door sides looking for decals with the VIN, in the battery box compartment, i even went extreme to removing steering wheel and instrument cluster and looking on the instrument panel frame... with no luck and all in vain.

Someone told me to check the passenger side, by removing the seat, is that true?

The reason for my desperate search for the VIN is
a) to track the most recent owner (if any at all) to know if the car was just imported from Japan or imported then registered in the UAE (in any emirate) so had a plate number and registration, etc...... btw, car is a japanese import from the numerous stickers around the engine bay and on the driver side door sil
b) i'm ready to burn some good hard earned cash in the vicinity of 70kaed plus taking it to the extreme with complete makeover, bodykit, interior completet redone, Stage 4 kit 700hp conversion project so i need and would love to have a diehard 928 lover that can be a guide, guru, buddy, tutor to save me some quality time whilst i take on this quest and have fun on this mission. Any help would be very much appreciated!! PM me or just shout out load, thanks
