Angry speed alarm

I'm Bart and I live in Belgium; in Europe. I bought a 2011 Cayman 2.9 which is from Dubai. A very annoying item is an alarm (such as for the seat belt) that starts when you drive more than 120 km / h and stops below 115. It is not the alarm that you can set manually via the menu; it seems programmed. Is that mandatory in Dubai? Anyone have any idea how I can override or disable it?

Regards, Bart

Yes, almost all vehicles in the Gulf area have speed alarms, very annoying, not sure how you disable them.
Maybe someone on the Durametric website (http://www.durametric.com) can help ?

Thank you for the reply. A local Porsche dealer will try to disable it. I will keep you posted.

The alarm has been removed by a porsche dealer.
