AWD Cayman for rally?
New turbocharged Super 2000-spec rally cars for 2010 in WRC:

An April, 2009 interview in Excellence with a top Porsche boss asked about a possible awd Cayman for the World Rally Championship. The answer seemed to be that the 911 will remain Porsche's main racing effort with a possible LMP1 program in 2011 or so (new engine regulations due for Le Mans Prototypes for 2011).

Three Wheelin'
Why anyone would swing their guns at WRC these days is beyond me. The series is in crisis - with most manufacturers gone. I think it'll be a while before you see ANY new factory efforts in WRC. And Porsche has never staged a WRC effort - which is too bad.
Perhaps Porsche's motorsports division saw this coming and steered clear of WRC all along. Or they didn't want thier asses handed to them by Citroen and Peugot. : )
