Crazy Yacaman save at Glen
Did anyone "catch" this amazing save during this past weekend's Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen?
Video capture from Gustavo Yacaman's car, as posted to his IG account. How did he save this coming up through the esses? Did his left front just touch the curbing, helping to straighten the car out?

Quick steering to avoid the LMP2/DPi kerfuffle, combined with drop throttle at the point after he's already started left, precisely when the road crests, started it.
When the car yawed left ninety to the direction of travel, the coefficient of friction of the pavement was more than the curbing paint, so it was the REAR that was slowed quicker than the front, dragging it back relative to the front and causing the car to "snap back" and bring the car back in line.
He does look down the road, stays OFF throttle until the car straightens, drops three or four gears and putters off, not quite believing his luck! Bravo! Very LUCKY man...
