Default Memory Module just released by AIM

AIM finally released the Memory Module (I physically have them in stock) for the MXL 2, MXS, MXG, EVO 4S and the EVO 5. This will allow you reach into the car and remove the SD memory card to download data. Since most of the new loggers are WIFI and easy to download, I was not sure how much interest thes emodules might generate. Then I thought of the "arrive and drive" guys (I support many). This would be great for them to grab the card at the end of the weekend/event and take their data with them to review later. I'm sure we'll find how convenient these are after a few installations. It is nice and compact (103 grams), and built from aluminum and meet watertight standards IP 65.

List price is $179 but e-mail me at jerryaustin@verizon.net for your price.

Attached are a couple photos.

Interesting. Had lots of problems with the memory stick early on, once they resolved, has worked perfectly and is super convenient, I imagine in much the same way this device would be.

jerry this would be used only to have the data from the logger on a chip, correct? would be redundant to have if one already has two bullet cams and card holders correct? thanks frank

AIM has promised that the shift light module is next on the list. The dealers are also anxious to receive the SLM

The Memory Module is for the logger, to add another way to handle data. It would not be used with AIM cameras.

Default Update

I was at Mosport last weekend and tried the Memory Module. It was excellent. I just connected it to the data hub and voila the files appeared with no effort. It was much easier than even using the WiFi feature of the MXL 2 dash. It doesn't sound like much but I was doing data on 6 cars at this event. To retrieve the data just insert the SD card and Launch RS 3 and click on the Configuration Icon:
