Very nice event. Weather was great as was the track. The speed variance was pretty significant but that just made it more interesting. Nice dinner on Friday night and an very nice jacket as well. Definitely a event to go to in the future.

While I did not race the track this past weekend myself, I did get to speak to 15 to 20 drivers who did. All had high praise for the circuit. Many ranking the track in the top 5 or higher on their schedule. Heard nothing bad about the circuit.
I understand the rental fee is fairly high and PCA will be hard pressed to repeat the event unless more cars make the show going forward.
The Allegheny Region did a praise worthy job of hosting the event, especially given many years of inactivity in the club race program. The effort was there. Congrats.

I will also say that despite 16 different classes in the red group from SPB to Cup cars, everybody played nice really well.

Very well organized, and executed, club race. I like the track, and all the post race activities were a blast!
With respect to attendance. It appears to be difficult to get more than 60-70 racers to attend unless we are talking about Watkins Glen, Road America, etc. I would guess the turnout was better than Mid Ohio, Putnam, etc.

One of the very best things about the track is the spectator area up on the hill. Rather than picking a spot to watch 10 seconds of the track you can see most of it from a single spot. Great for the fans, of which I have many, and radio guys. Getting a heads up when those cup guys were coming thru like light speed was very handy as the track is very very very busy and difficult to check mirrors. With more days on track that won't be as much of an issue but with so many corners it was a challenge.

I would echo other comments here. Great event and organization. Fantastic track, going back next year for sure. If you didn't make it this year, put this one on your schedule.

Thank you. It is comments like this that make it all worth it.
We were confident that we could bring together our excellent volunteers and pull off the race. We were also confident that the new track would sell itself once you drove it. We were not so sure about the weather, but we got lucky! Hell, I thought I was at Laguna Seca on Saturday. Just perfect.
I won't lie. The long term viability of this event is in question. We lost $.
The October date is holding us back in a number of ways. Had it rained and been 40° who knows what we would all be saying now.
Thank you to all the teams & drivers who came out. We will be evaluating our options.
