Thanks for posting! Now I finally know who Donnie Iris is!

Hey race chair Bill - maybe we should consider giving all "otta tonners"
(Out-of-towners) a Guide to Pittsburgh-ese handbook.

When we moved here (the first time) our realtor gave us a little book of Pittsburgh-ese. It helped tremendously!!

Thanks for sharing! Looks like the perfect "swag" for a Pittsburgh event! Never seen one before!

One of my buddies is born and raised in PGH. Still lives there, on the same street he grew up on in Mt. Lebanon. Used to go up there to visit when in college since it was a straight shot up I-79 from Morgantown. After college, we'd always bring a few cases of Yeungling home with us since at the time you couldn't buy it outside of PA.

Racers... our cancellation policy takes Summit Point into account. Plenty of time to withdraw if you need to. Full refund if you cancel by Oct 1. Sign up now for Das Burghring 2017.

In addition to camping if the weather is nice, what is the policy with campfires in a metal fire pit thingy?

From http://pittrace.com/wp-content/uploa...rules-2017.pdf

No open campfires. Grills and elevated, contained fire pits are permitted if more than 50 ft from
the fuel farm.

Are there showers on-site?
Showers are available in the restrooms at the Event Center, North Track garages, and Karting tower.

Are campfires permitted?

Open campfires are not permitted. Grills and contained, elevated fire pits are permitted at least 50 ft away from the fuel farm.

Is there public WiFi?

A public WiFi network is provided near all track side buildings.

Pitt Race has a lot of info on their website: http://pittrace.com/visitors/

We will have 24 hour gate guards Thurs - Sat nights.
Therefore yes, you will be able to camp.
