All racing registrants will receive a 20% off discount card from Apex Performance.
I am a Past President of Allegheny Region and although I now live IN Dixie my heart is still in the Steel City.
Apex Performance was the track side provider at this track in 2003 and 2004.
The only other PCA Club Race held at this track in 2003
was well atended. I got my PCA Club Race license at this race.
Last November I traveled to Pittsburgh and had an opportunity
to see this track in it's current format. Although many of my friends had told me of the amount of money being spent, I had a hard time believing it was the same place

Moto America the Nations top Motorcycle racing sanctioning body was at Pitt Race last weekend and the riders loved the track. There were over 5000 spectators attending the event and it was a total success. Moto America will be back to this track next year. The event was broadcast on live TV.

Check out some of the videos on Moto America's website:

Really going to try and make this race.
used to go back when it was Beaverun which was still alot of fun but have heard alot about the new track.

I know PCA potomac had a DE up there and from the video and responses they were really happy with the track and the facility was even better than last time i was there...
track looked like a good mix of elevation and corners so really hope i can make it.
ARPCA has been very good to me back in the DE days so im sure it will be a great event.
Not to mention their Karting track is freaking fantastic.

pretty sweet the Vintage class started at summit is going to continue,
hopefully we can get some more E cars to sign up and keep that trend going (Road America looks pretty epic as well)

if i dont end up driving planning on coming to watch at least and vist some friends DahnTahn as you yinzers say.

oh and please....NO JOURNEY on the loudspeakers

So the first reference to music in a PGH thread is Journey, and not Donnie Iris? Come on man!

I actually met him at a bar on the Southside back in the 90s!

Pittsburgh is my adopted home (twice). I have heard Donnie Iris referenced many times, but never associated him with those songs (which are familiar from back in the day...)

Thanks for posting! Now I finally know who Donnie Iris is!

Hey race chair Bill - maybe we should consider giving all "otta tonners"
(Out-of-towners) a Guide to Pittsburgh-ese handbook.

When we moved here (the first time) our realtor gave us a little book of Pittsburgh-ese. It helped tremendously!!
