Peter you hit the nail on its head "was the incredible human equity that WAS present in that program"

They have had a knack at getting the best of the best . All the talent and all the great characters that make racing so great.

Yes they bought the name, but not the company or hard assets (and thus do not assume the liabilities for all the unpaid vendors, instructors, and mechanics). They were doing schools at NJMP in the Miller Mustangs and wanted the name for, well for what I don't know. The name is tarnished
and sadly obsolete outside racing circles. They said they paid north of $250k for the name (and maybe some IP)!

Me (and likely a few former SBRS instructors) got LinkedIn requests from DeMonte’s former “Director of Racing Operations,” now “COO of Skip Barber Racing” this week... Hmmm... Interesting looking at his profile.

As you say, going to be a tough sell within the industry. One of the reasons why it crashed, besides the most obvious, the former owner himself, was that there are SO many more choices today.

And now, much better ones, too. Like LevelUp, Lucas Oil, Allen Berg, SimRaceway and Bertil Roos, to name a few...
