VIR Lodging
Any suggestions for VIR Lodging 10/26-10/29 or 10/30?
Pulled the trigger on my first VIR DE (3 days with NNJR).
Suggestions other than on site lodging as well?
I'll be flying solo for this one, so a room for one is ideal.

I see The Villa, The Lodge, and Pit Lane rooms for on site lodging.
Can't get the availability online. Says "call for reservations". Gotta assume they are pretty booked. (I committed kinda late to this DE, so that may be the problem with availability). I will call in the morning though.
Any other suggestions? Where are most of you NNJR folks staying that weekend?
Thanks

I'd call. Much easier to stay on site. I stayed in paddock garages. Good food at the facility. Danville is pretty close and has all the typical chain hotels.
Plus if you get paddock garage you can hang out in your room between sessions.

Call them. The Lodge is a 27 room hotel with nice rooms. The Villas are townhomes with a larger, complete kitchen and bedroom upstairs and smaller units with mini kitchens on the first floor. The pit lane (garage) rooms are convenient to the paddock.
For you, the Lodge, Pit lane rooms or lower Villa rooms would be great.
If my wife were coming, I'd go to Berry Hill. Little bit of a hike, but nice!
If not, sleep inn/holiday in express/equivalent in Danville.

Check out : http://thewoodsideinn.com/
Its an old house so the beds kinda suck... But its a big house to stretch out in rather than a tiny hotel room. and its close.
Aside from the lodge, its my next choice.

All on site lodging is booked.
I will start checking in Danville and Alton (per VIR's recommendation).
The girl I just spoke with (Erin) said to try the Sleep Inn near Danville. Anyone have any experience there? Thanks.
